I came to this conclusion because it just makes sense that in order to master the guitar to a proficiency that stardom and fame requires, you need to get your 10 000 hours in. There is absolutely no way that a person can do this if they are socializing and surrounded by distractions.
The guitar is a new hobby that I have recently picked up and for the past week that I have owned the thing I have probably spent a solid 20 hours playing the magnificent music machine.
It is an Epiphone Les Paul Special II and I paid $60 for it, brand new. That’s right, even though I am an introvert, I still have some connections.
That 20 hours was attained and encouraged through another introverted activity, video games. I got my hands on a copy of Rocksmith (borrowed) and have completely numbed my finger tips with practice.
It has cut down my writing time, so it is time to figure out how to balance the two and become even more skilled an awesome than I already am. jk
